Konstanzer Jahrgeschichten
A digital representation of manuscripts containing the Konstanzer Jahrgeschichten.
The so-called Konstanzer Jahrgeschichten are annalistic records that date from 1256 to 1388. Today, twelve manuscripts are known that contain the Jahrgeschichten, and as the number of entries as well as their length and dating differ from manuscript to manuscript, diplomatic transcriptions for each manuscripts are gathered here.
Manuscripts
The manuscript section provides an overview of the known manuscripts that contain the Konstanzer Jahrgeschichten. Each entry includes basic codicological information and a brief description of the content. Links to digitized versions, if available, are provided, as well as links to additional information.
Transcriptions
In the transcription section, the transcriptions prepared so far are available. The corresponding XML-files can be found here. The transcription guidelines are documented here. If you spot a mistake, please let me know.
